I Curatori

Gianni Denaro is a designer and research fellow at the Department of the Italian Institute of Oriental Studies at Sapienza University of Rome. He earned his Ph.D. in Product Design in 2021 from Sapienza, with a dissertation focusing on the Italian fashion system and Industry 4.0 innovations. His research interests center on the intersection of fashion and digitalization, exploring how this relationship impacts consumption, processes, strategies, sustainability, and product development. Alongside his academic work, he has established himself as a freelance designer, creating projects in fashion and communication. In December 2023, his monograph Progettazione e produzione 4.0 nell’industria dell’abbigliamento in Italia was published by Edizioni Nuova Cultura.

Juliana Bez Kroeger is a researcher and creative technologist, as well as an adjunct lecturer in Fashion Digitalization at Sapienza University of Rome. She earned her Ph.D. in Performing Arts in 2020 from Sapienza, with a dissertation focusing on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Her research interests focus on the application of emerging technologies to fashion, cultural heritage, and factual media, with a particular emphasis on their role in driving sustainability and innovation. Alongside her academic career, she works as a multimedia creator and software developer, contributing to projects that connect technology with the creative industries.
